Position: Cat Café Crew Member

As the first point of contact for visitors, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience—while keeping our space sparkling clean for both our human guests and feline residents. This job requires meticulous attention to cleaning, physical stamina, and a friendly, professional appearance and attitude.

 

Responsibilities:

🐾 Customer Experience & Café Operations

• Welcome guests with a friendly smile and assist with check-ins for cat lounge reservations.

• Guide customers through their cat café experience, including lounge rules and adoption info.

• Process drink and merchandise sales efficiently using our POS system.

• Ensure the café side stays clean, stocked, and organized.

🧼 Cleaning & Animal Care (This is a major part of the job!)

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the café and cat lounge.

• Regularly clean and sanitize all surfaces, floors, litter boxes, and enclosures.

• Handle heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.), frequent bending, and active movement while cleaning.

• Follow strict cleaning protocols to ensure the health and safety of our cats and customers.

• Assist with cat care, including feeding, nail trimming, and medication as needed.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

✔️ Strong customer service skills – friendly, patient, and able to engage with visitors.
✔️ Attention to detail in cleaning – must be thorough, proactive, and willing to clean constantly.
✔️ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment – ability to multitask during busy hours.
✔️ Physically capable – must be able to lift 40+ lbs., bend, squat, and move easily while cleaning.
✔️ Tech-savvy – ability to learn and use POS and booking systems.
✔️ Comfortable handling cats – including trimming nails and assisting with medication.
✔️ Willing to get an OLCC Alcohol Service Permit.

 

This is a part-time, seasonal position requiring availability on weekends, occasional weekdays and holidays. Applicants must be 19+ years old.

 

💰 Starting Pay: $15/hour
